Water Baptism

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

-Matthew 28:19-20

This passage establishes water baptism as a commandment from Jesus himself, and it is one of the principal reason why water baptism remains important for us today.

We do not save ourselves; God saves you through the work of Christ. It is God’s will for everyone that we express our love and trust of God by being Water Baptized.
